After "recess," it was time for lunch. They had spaghetti yesterday, so Mrs. Margaret was happy to have a couple of extra hands to help. There are only 3 other kids in Weston's class....but still, spaghetti plus 4 toddlers is hard work!
It was fun to see what his day was like and how he interacted with the kids and Mrs. Margaret. There were a few other Moms there too, and the kids were extra "whiny," but Mrs. Margaret assured us all it was just because we were there. Her exact quote was, "Trust me, if it was like this everyday, I wouldn't be here..." :) She was right too, because one Mom left before me, and her son started playing and was as happy as could be.
I've included some pictures of Weston's time on the playground below! Enjoy!
How many toddlers can fit on a see-saw?
Well, Mrs. Margaret can fit FIVE! This is Weston's class plus one. The girl in the middle (right in front of Weston) is in the class next door. But, since she is a good walker, Mrs. Margaret brought her outside with us.
Crusin in the car. Weston LOVES to drive everything, including: trucks, cars, 4-wheelers, lawn mowers, tractors, and golf carts. You name it, he wants to drive it.
This is how Mrs. Margaret can transport her class by herself. The four in the front are in Weston's class. The two little girls in the back seat are in the class next door. The kids love going for a buggy ride. Weston would prop his feet up on the back of Liam's seat as if he owned the buggy. Again, he is spoiled at the SLC!!
