Last Wednesday was my last day of track-out before returning for workdays. So, off we went to get mulch for the yard. We skipped "mulching" last year, the year before, and maybe even the year before that. Needless to say....we were overdue for a front yard make-over. We started with 2.5 yards and by the end of the day had to get another 2.5 yards of mulch....and that is a lot of mulch!!! Thankfully, we had two extra cute pair of hands to help us....and it made the work a little more enjoyable (or photo worthy, anyway)!
Weston riding "mulch loading" tractor. And, no, we didn't just let him ride the tractor with a random stranger. Chris' friend's family owns the mulch yard....so we knew Mr. Freddy would drive Weston just as if it was one of his own grandchildren!

He loaded up his bucket and then we dumped it by the bushes! This didn't last long before he wanted to climb on top of all the mulch...imagine that!
After the mulch was done, it was time to cut grass. Weston rode with Daddy on the lawn mower for a little while (I know...I've read and been told it's not safe...but it's something we're okay with in our house). Then, he decided to get on his 4-wheeler and follow Chris around!

So, thanks to my sweet husband and son (and don't worry...I shoveled my share of mulch, too), the yard looks great!
